Cherry Creek Racquet Club
Location: Southeast Aurora, Colorado
The Cherry Creek Racquet Club consists of 91 single-family homes. Built in the late 70’s, early 80’s by Hedlund Homes, this wonderful community is located in SE Aurora just south of the Quincy Avenue and Parker Road intersection. The area is served by the Cherry Creek School district and City Council Ward V. The City Councilman is Bob Roth and he was elected in 2011. The Cherry Creel Racquet Club constructed an 8’ brick perimeter wall in 2008. The city of Aurora participated with the community to have this project completed to add to the favorable appearance of the community.

This FREE event gives blind and visually impaired individuals and their families access to speakers, vendors and resources dealing with blindness, visual impairment and low vision. Speakers include Dr. Nalin Metha, retinal specialist, and Dr. Kara Hanson, low vision optometrist, at 9 a.m. Resource panel includes representative from four organizations. There will be up to 20 vendors of products and services. Snacks & beverages provided.
